HUTCHINSON® Poly V is a power a transmission belt for FEAD of cars. With multiple longitudinal ribs Poly V transmits torque by contact between the belt rib flanks and the pulley grooves.

Belt Structure

High manufacturing quality:

Formed by molding, the ribs drive the pulley by contact pressure in the grooves. They are made of an EPDM rubber base with high resistance to mechanical stress and environmental influences.
Depending on the application, our range of rib layer surfaces provides the right solution for every required noise level
Polyester (PET) cord is suitable for most applications and Aramid cord cable is the standard for most severe applications. Its high modulus improves NVH behaviors outside of the usual criteria
The back of the belt provides contact with the idlers and can also transmit power on flat pulleys. It protects the cords and ensures the radial stability of the structure.
